“Órfãos da Terra” soap opera debut at the Belas Artes University Center

Events - April 18, 2019

The organization I Know My Rights Brasil brought together the refugees who participated in the opening of Rede Globo's new soap opera, “Órfãos da Terra”, to watch the first chapter aired on April 3rd. The event took place at the Belas Artes University Center and was attended by actress Flávia Alessandra. On the same occasion, we had the opportunity to deliver our book “Sergio Vieira de Mello: O Legado de um Herói Brasileiro” to her.

The “Missão Paz” project coordinator, Father Paolo Parise, was also present at the opening. As an institution that welcomes immigrants and refugees in the city of São Paulo, the organization has welcomed people from over 80 ethnicities annually.

ZAZ Produções, which is interested in and supports the refugee cause, has supported and worked alongside these initiatives, believing in their importance in society. This time, it was the audiovisual team’s turn, which produced photos and videos of the event.
