On August 17th, 2019, the Technical Congress of the 2019 CIEE Jovem Pan Intercolegial Cup took place. The Intercolegial Cup is a partnership between the Company-School Integration Center - CIEE and the Jovem Pan Group, and is Brazil’s largest intercollegiate futsal tournament.

The congress, which marked the opening of the registration of the teams in the tournament, was held at the CIEE Theater, in São Paulo, and was attended by the player Vampeta, who is the official ambassador of the World Cup.

Created to encourage schools that want to promote the sport among young students in Brazil, the championship will have the participation of 128 male and 32 female teams from elementary to high schools and is in its 25th edition.

The official opening ceremony of the Copa Jovem Pan will take place on September 1st, at the São Paulo Futebol Clube gymnasium, where the three first phase matches will be drawn.
