ZingPlay Brasil, originally from Vietnam, is an online gaming portal that, in addition to entertainment, is also concerned with the situation of the most vulnerable in Brazil. According to the 2019 Census, 85% of the people who live on the streets are male. In the capital, there are more than 24.000 homeless people, an increase of almost 60% in relation to 2015. Given this scenario, in 2020 ZingPlay had the support of ZAZ Produções and opted to financially help the Fogão na Rua Project and go with them to bring a little dignity to these homeless people.

Fogão na Rua is a social project that started in 2016 and since then it has impacted thousands of people in the city of São Paulo and gains many fans for every action it takes on the street. According to Erica Matusita, one of the founders of the Project, the action of Fogão na Rua is differentiated, the project took this time to the street the following items: handmade hamburgers, male and female hygiene kits, blankets, clothes, shoes, chocolate, a lot of affection and care. “Their initiative is incredible”, says Bianca Lisboa, from ZAZ Produções who works with ZingPlay in Brazil, and made the connection with Fogão na Rua so that this action could happen with the sponsorship of the games portal.

The action lasted approximately 1 hour. Homeless people form and organize the queue in a very polite and respectful way, go through the stations where they receive the hamburgers, then the male or female hygiene kits and, if needed, can pick up donated clothes and shoes and finish with a chocolate hot due to the cold night in São Paulo. A continuous line of people who are provisionally living in the vicinity of Praça do Patriarca and that ZingPlay through the Fogão na Rua comes to soften, even for a short period of time, the lives of these people. They are elderly, young people and children who are in this precarious situation and any help is more than welcome.
