ABPAR takes action on PAF awareness

Events - June 15, 2019

PAF, or Familial Amyloidotic Polyneuropathy, is a poorly known inherited degenerative disease, both in Brazil and worldwide. In the objective of raising awareness of the disease and making it increasingly possible to be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible, ABPAR (Brazilian Association of Paramyloidosis) set up an action in Prefeito Mário Covas Park, on Paulista Avenue in São Paulo, where there will be artistic projections on the park's trees.

ABPAR is a Rio de Janeiro founded association that has been working for 29 years in sensitizing health services and the population about the disease, as well as to fight for investment in the treatment of the disease and for the legislation for the rights and interests of patients of the disease.

In partnership with CDN Comunicação, ZAZ Produções participated in the action with the assembly of a totem pole in the park. The action takes place on June 14th, 15th and 16th. Check out the totem photos by clicking here.
